Each year Extrema comes up with a different theme. 2011's theme is 'Sharing Secrets'. Secrets are exciting and adventurous. Secrets which are shared intensify the common feeling. It's popular to share secrets nowadays as people no longer have diaries but public web logs instead. On social media we share more than what we are or do. During the Extrema festivals the theme is recognisable in theatre, artwork, art installations and other performances.
